Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Cradle Cot. By purchasing, assembling, or using the Cradle Cot, you agree to the following terms, conditions, and safety guidelines. Safety is our absolute highest priority. Please read these terms carefully before using our product.
We completely understand the concerns around infant sleep safety — it’s something we take very seriously.
Cradle Cot is designed with a firm, supportive surface held under tension, not a loose or sagging hammock. The structure is engineered to maintain stable posture and controlled movement, while using breathable, baby-safe materials.
We are aligning our design with established safe sleep principles, including a clear, supported surface and supervised use, and we are continuing to work through safety validation as part of our development process.
We always encourage parents to follow official safe sleep guidance and use any sleep product in accordance with those recommendations.
We are at the prototype stage and testing is underway.
1. Intended Use: Supervised Rest & Soothing
The Cradle Cot is designed as an ergonomic, hammock-style soothing device intended to help infants relax and rest.
Not a Permanent Sleep Solution: The Cradle Cot is strictly not intended for overnight sleep, unattended sleep, or as a replacement for a standard firm-mattress crib, bassinet, or cot.
Supervision Required: The product must only be used under constant, direct adult supervision. Never leave an infant unattended while in the Cradle Cot.
2. The Hammock Design & Safe Positioning
Our hammock-like design is engineered to gently cradle your baby, mimicking the natural curvature of a parent’s arms. Because of this unique suspended design, users must adhere to strict safety protocols:
Positioning: Ensure the baby is always placed flat on their back in the center of the cot. Do not place the baby on their stomach or side.
No Extra Bedding: Never add loose blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, or additional padding into the Cradle Cot. The product is designed to be used exactly as provided to prevent suffocation risks.
Clearance: Ensure the hammock is suspended at the recommended height and remains clear of walls, hard surfaces, or sharp objects.
3. Installation and Hardware Integrity
The safety of the Cradle Cot relies entirely on proper assembly.
User Responsibility: It is the user’s responsibility to assemble the product exactly according to the provided instructions.
Interchangeable Plates & Silicone Grip: The universal fitting plates and silicone grips must be securely fastened to a stable, compatible cot frame before the infant is placed inside.
Routine Checks: Users must inspect the locking mechanisms, suspension straps, and fabric integrity before every use. Do not use the product if any part is frayed, torn, missing, or broken.
4. Age, Weight, and Developmental Limits
The Cradle Cot is designed for early infancy. You must immediately discontinue use of the Cradle Cot when the infant meets any of the following criteria:
Reaches the maximum weight limit of 40kg
Shows signs of being able to roll over independently.
Can push up on their hands and knees.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cradle Cot (and its parent company, manufacturers, and affiliates) shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, injuries, or death arising from the misuse, improper installation, or failure to follow the safety guidelines of this product. The user assumes all risk associated with the use of the Cradle Cot.
6. Modifications to the Product
Any aftermarket modifications, alterations, or use of third-party replacement parts instantly voids all warranties and transfers all liability entirely to the user.
